Cool port and polish update pics

okay, i worked on the port and polish job last night for a few minutes. check out my progress:

http://209.150.235.158:8585/cylinder_head/port_polish_2/

some are a bit fuzzy, sorry, too much flash on a shiny surface in the sun. so far, all the "experts" and sngine builders that have seen it have said that i'm on the right track. i have to get a really fine set of files later, and some ATF fluid so that i can CC match the chambers down to the 1/10 of a milliliter.

enjoy!

Thumbs up

NICE! heh, i'm not going to stop until i get a mirror finish in the exhaust ports.

did you notice a big difference?

you polished the intake side too eh? i thought you weren't supposed to do that, or is that only with carbed engines?

thanks!

Smile

point of reference for those of you seeking to do the same. i think that each exhaust port, to properly shine it up, will take me 3 hours per port... or 12 hours on just the exhaust.
