Smoke from the exhaust header

I need some guidance on this one. I know that I have a leaking front camshaft seal that causes a small amount of oil to drip on the front of the exhaust header and burn.

Just recently, there is quite a bit of smoke now coming from the back of the exhaust header (near the firewall). Would this be the rear camshaft seal or could it be the camshaft cover gasket leaking. I can see some oil on the camshaft cover just above the #4 exhaust header bolt (last header bolt before the firewall). I suspect that the oil is dripping down on the header and causing all the smoke.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

1983, 944 with 114K miles.

When was the last time you changed your timing and balance belts and/or cam chain and tensioner?

As usual Hugh is on the money.
