Cool it's alive !!!!!!!!!

well i finally got the car running again.my friend's shop gave me, new belts, and rollers, waterpump, all seals for the front(front main seal was leeking)all gaskets ,coil, dist. ,wires and a nice new set of injectors. he came over and helped me do the work in my driveway(tons of fun) i had allready stripped most of the car before he came back and didn't want to have it towed in that shape. we also swapped the controll arms and a ton of other little things from the 85. his tech was fired, and litteraly thrown out of the shop. annyway she is back on the road and driving better than i ever immagined. the only problem is that the headlights where converted to solid lights and have really ugly covers on them.i like the idea of not haveing the popup lights but would like something that isn't as ugly.if annyone knows of covers i would appreciate it. the lights look like the old 924 lights but their isn't a top, just plexiglass.

Good to hear that there was some restitution. No bent valves?

You put aluminum a-arms on the 84? Don't quite follow this.

I would find and re-install the original head lights and rotation system. That way you can run the H4's. Better to see the road at night than "look cool". Remember the covered head lights were for racing were every ounce counts.

When was the last time you changed your timing and balance belts and/or cam chain and tensioner?

the old valce where bent to hell.the lights now are h4 but the covers are hidious. i don't really care what the car looks like i just prefer to have a car that doesn't have 2 blocks on the front of the car. the interior is gutted and most of the other crap is removed. i do drive the car dayley but also race it.i swapped the a arms from the 85, for the weight difference and the old ones where very rusty.their arn't anny drawbacks to swapping the a arms are their???i knew if i was patient and didn't through a fit he would take care of me.
