951 vs. S4

j/k
anyone see the 951 project in European magazine?
It's not worth buying! - just skim it.
they were hoping for 300 rwhp but kolken laughed and was going for more.
huntley's doing the suspension - I think.

The guy that writes that article is the guy I bought my '86 from. This is part 2, I've read both parts and I would recomend skipping them both.

i like thier project m3 and project e36 325. They went FULL OUT on the m3, and supposedly were going to do a budget autox/daily driver e36 325is yet they still put in TC Kline coilovers ($$$$$).....i wonder what kind of "budget" car they have in mind...

LMAO! None, yet. pt 1 was about his journey to find a 951S for under 10,000, which was unsuccessful. So he went to Arizona (I think) and bought an '86 and had a small buying guide inset. pt 2 was just blah blah blah on what he planned to do (read: filler). Maybe pt 3 there will be something of substance. On a side note, they did have a lot of good articles about other vehicles.

I read both articles and elected not to buy either issue.

your right, but I like the corrado (I can't spell it!)
In the first issue (with the 951) they plopped down thousands of bolt ons into a 5 series bimmer and got 20 hp!

Oh yeah, the corrados! Nice cars, still high priced even now (at least here)
However, nothing to do with 951,even in the price.

On a magazine they said, joking, that the corrado is the car for the people who owned a 944 after a few repairing bills.

They also have a phrase for each car,the one for 944 was: "im with a blonde otherwise would not be with me"

it is NOT a very good magazine... I have to wonder how EUROPEAN CAR and GRASSROOTS MOTORSPORTS et al have stayed in-print all these years.
