Porsche Crest No more hard-starting!!

YES!!! I went to start my car this morning and it fired right up! The second I turned the key. I usually have to try turning it over 8 or 9 times, or use starting fluid. I also could have driven it right away, usually it has to warm up before it won't die. Trying to fix this problem we replaced, fuel pump, fuel rail, some lines, check-valve, injectors and a few other parts. We also let a shop look at it, they had no idea.
Yesterday we replaced the DME and the vacuum valve that goes under the far intake manifold tube. When I get a chance I'm going to plug my old DME back in to make sure that was the problem, I'm pretty sure it was. This is great...

Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but you
still can't help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs.

Garage
Open up the old DME and resolder everything. Then you will have a second DME.
