light front end
I have a question I was going about 130 and the front end was very touchy, kinda light and not very controlable, is there a fix for this that can pull the car lower to the ground at higher speeds?
Also when the car is warming up it sounds like i have a turbo, kinda a high pitch whine, it goes away when she is warm and last is it hard to put nos in a porsche? |

I hope you were doing 130 on a track and not where Grandma, Grandpa, Mom, Dad, uncles, aunts and kids commute every day, huh?
Just tell me it was on a track....if not, then you're irresponsible.

whine is from your fan belts.
also these cars arent meant to be driven around 130 mph. if your doing that, consider lowering it and adding a front spoiler/airdam type configuration. yes nos can be added but why? |

As Tex (from Maryland?) says lower the car and get serious with some spoiler work such as a spliter and the covers (pans) under the engine.
I would add if you haven't had a front end inspection, shocks, bushings, tie rods, ball joints, then get one and fix all that is worn. Nothing like a tight suspension! What model and year car? How many miles?

The whine could also be your balance shaft belt. Mine does it when cold. Unless I keep the belt quite loose, it whines when cold.

Proper alignment is neccessary, of course, but also remember that at high speeds, any car will feel "twitchy". Things happen very fast, and a very slight change in steering will result in an unplanned lane change.
Do NOT overcorrect. |
