Does anyone know what suspension options were available for the 1985/2? I would like to know which options were available separately, or if there were only package deals offered.
I bought an original 1985 944 sales brochure, but the option list is somewhat hazy. It says: -Front and rear H.D. stabilizer bars with or without sports shocks. -7Jx15 front and 8Jx15 rear forged alloy wheels So, I assume the forged wheels are the Fusch. Were these available as a separate option without the required inclusion of sport suspension? Also, the H.D. stabilizer bars available were 21.5mm front and 14mm rear right? I see no indication that sport springs were available as an option. Were they, or only adjustable Konis with the H.D. sway bars? If the sport springs were available, what are the spring rates/ torsion bar diameters? Finally, what are the associated Porsche option code numbers for these suspension options available in 1985. I looked at the generic option code list, but several different numbers state "front and rear swaybars". Kaos 1985/2 [This message has been edited by Kaos (edited 06-30-2001).] |
