I found that the Drainage hole under the gas cap is completely clogged. So, I was wondering, How does one go about cleaning the clog out??? What is the best and most effective method?

Hi Bro, hey use a wire and feed it into the hole slowly this has a hose that comes out on the bottom of the right wheelwell in the rear you should only have to feed it into the top hole about 3 inches and then run some water thru it you will see where it leaks out on the bottom .....also look into the rear right side cavity in the hatch area and see if there is water flowing into the well if so then the hose has come off the fitting.............Stan |

I agree with Stan... Give it the "Snake" treatment with a semi ridged wire.

Mine was also clogged, and a burst of high pressure water was able to free up the clog.
You'll get a little wet, though. ![]() -Zoltan. |

Speaking of hoses coming off the fittings... Is there a drainage hole that exits under or near the rear passenger footwell? The reason I ask is I noticed I had some water accumulating after a rain in that footwell for no good reason. I found no water on/in the walls, or dripping from the sunroof, and the PO replaced all the window seals, so what gives????
Thanks |
