Brake Fluid Warning Light

Recently the all-purpose "!" warning light has come on intermittantly, and at the same time the "Check brake fluid" message lights up. That would ordinarily be an easy thing to remedy, except that the brake fluid level is normal. The strange thing is the lights come on for just a few seconds then flicker off and on sporadically. I get the sense that there is probably a loose connection where ever the brake fluid level sensor is. As I'm writing this it has occurred to me that there must be an electrical connection on the brake fluid resevoir.

Can anyone confirm the connection location, or offer suggestions for the flickering brake fluid warning message?

See if your float is still on the pushrod and that it is not filled with brake fluid, also make shure that the level is between the max and min .. dont add a whole lot of fluid if the brakes are worn as the fluid will come out of the top when you replace the pads, also loo for a leak in the clutch master cyl and slave , clean the cap N float and put it back on the resivour...Stan

Stan is right. My light was going off, so i checked the resivoir, fine! Look under car, slave cylinder leaking badly.
Symptoms, flickering light and clutch pedal not returning sometimes.
