What is this?

What is this?

My mechanic found it today, it is between the 2 and 3 cylinder on the intake manifold. It appears to be a sensor, but it isn't connected.

Looks like a temp sensor to me. How is it mounted?

Was there an after market temp gauge in the cab somewhere?

When was the last time you changed your timing and balance belts and/or cam chain and tensioner?

It is mounted with one of the bolts that holds on the manifold.

There is no after market temp guage in the cab, but there were new guages for the oil pressure and clock that the dealer installed. (which I have since replaced to the stock yellow ones).

We also found what looks like an after market cruise control system that was disconnected.

Bet the new gauges replaced the after market temp gauge.

How do you know it's a limited slip diff?

Thanks for the help! I was hoping it was an after market temp sensor.

On the option codes in the car, I have 220 for LSD.

Me either, I read here that LSD came with 16" wheels and sway bars...

I would be curious to know how many where made with LSD.
