Adding a Turbo to an N/A

Has anyone added a Turbo to an earlier 944 N/A. Mine is a 1984 and I would mind the added power. Are there any aftermarket kits? Or would it be possbile to fit a later model 944 Turbo on the 84?

Just wondering!

you can fit a 944 Turbo engine in it. But why would you wanna turbocharge an NA? its a waste of money. You have to tear apart the motor, put low compression pistons in, re-do your head and camshaft so you don't go bendin valves.....about $6000 dollars for a conversion....i'll let ya decide what to do
