cylinder head differences 951 vs. 944 N/A
Is there any reason that a 951 head wouldn't work on an N/A?
Are the combustion chambers the same size etc.?

Heard of 951'rs using 944 heads because the valves are a tad larger. Dont' know why you would want to go the other way.

Well, I don't want to go the other way. Somebody just asked me if it was possible and I thought it was but wasn't sure..

I believe it is. The more popular thing to do is stick the larger intake valves on a regular 951 head, and "adjust" the seat to match.

Would the head not affect the compression ratio, or is a 944 engine the type of engine with the combustion chamber 'in the piston'. I forgot how the system is called (Heron system or something??).
