Question about timing belt rollers/tensioners(attn:1.2gees/Z-man)
 

I'm trying to price out how much it would cost for the rollers but I am not sure what I need. I looked at some kits at 944racing and Vertex auto and I am trying to compare their prices with prices from Pelican. I am only looking for the timing belt parts and not the balancing shaft parts. There is confusion between parts # 944.105.027.04 and 944.105.241.03. On Pelican the description for these parts says water pump rollers. Where is the tensioner. Any help would be great.

I noticed the discrepancy as well. I am bringing both of the rollers. The balance shaft roller as well. As well as a spare belt for both shafts.

The Clark Garage site has a pretty good diagram and picture. I will have my wireless internet laptop so we can check once it's open.

P.S. I am not worried about the money. Would rather you get the work and parts in. We can worry about the money later.

I made an order for a Tbelt the water pump roller and a tensioner. so i am all set with that stuff. Thanks though, and Ill see you Sat.

Is there a different roller for the non-updated water pump?

you should really change the balance belt as well. If it breaks, the chances are high that broken pieces of the balance belt will get jammed into the timing belt and can break even a brand new timing belt
