what's with the IP numbers being posted in our topics?
 
Hey all...I recently notice the posting of IP numbers on some users in the lower right had corners of the replies on post. Is there anyway to remove them so they are not shown...for means of privacy?...

Nope, the reason they are there is because of people posting under different names. That way, people can tell who it is exactly.

There is some good info in the off-topic board. Your IP is always available to the internet, without it the internet can't work. Your IP is just like your street address.
