Will 911 seats fit a 944?

I am close to a deal on a 944 S2 with blue standard seats. I would like to find sport seats for the car. Will sport seats from a '85 - '89 911 fit into a '89 944? Anyone have a line on a set?

Didn't Porsche start using electric seats in the 85 911's? I cant say for sure but my guess is that they wont fit.

I have an original electric drivers seat in my '88 944S and I was under the impression that the 911 and 944 items were interchangeable.

I couldn't tell looking at the parts diagram but they do look similar.

I think that Bennydean is correct.

Garage
16" wide by 11 3/4" front to back.

Mounting holes for early seats. Should also be the front and first of the two mounting holes in the later seats.

I put 911 seats in my 944. It was easier to swap old mounts on new seats.

Had to re-drill 2 holes

They're definitely the same from about 1985 onwards. My dad's 86 Carrera has identical seats to my 92 968.

I believe you could only get full electric adjustment on the standard seats; the sport seats just have electric height adjustment.
