Post OT: Can't start car

Hey guys, sorry I know this is off topic, but posting the OT forum wouldn't get as much response. So here goes. My friend has a 1995 Buick Riviera (with wtock supercharger). Lately he has been having trouble getting it to start up. The problem only occurs every now and then, no real set pattern. When he turns the key there is a clicking sound. It's not his battery, it's fine, and it's not the starter as he put a new one in and the problem continued. Any ideas what it could be? We're trying to figure it out before he takes it in and spends money. If you guys have any ideas they would be very much appreciated. Thanks,
-Tim

My father-in-law just had this same kind of trouble. We did everything to it and we were about to change the computer. A friend of mine said it was the crank sensor, so we changed the crank sensor and that solved the problem.

Oops, it was a Buick Regal, a 91 or 92.

Check the starter solenoid if that was not changed with the starter.
