Flat Governor
86 944na automatic..I need instructions for removal and replacement of the transaxle
"Flat Governor" this unit affect the control of transmission upsift,Help!! The factory manual gives fault analysis and shows a picture, but gives no specific instructions. |

Just info for the archive here...Since I had the flat governor changed on my 85.5na w/automatic transmission, fuel mileage is at 19 mpg with A/C on in stop and go traffic (ATL). The shift points are strong and precise. The original problem was "no upshift".

Governer valve will do that every time. Were the springs weak?
