Angry Headlights wont stay up.

Ok, it's getting darker earlier and I've noticed my headlights wont stay up. The slowly work themselves down until the motor kicks in and cycles the lights back up into the original starting position..

I recently noticed there are small rubber bumpers that have deteriorated (on the studs mounted to the wishbones on the headlights at the back of the bucket) anything there? They dont seem to rest anywhere.

Any Ideas?? The "No Driving lights" option is really bad..

When my lights would not go all the way up I found the contact for the relay base were not making proper contact with the relay pins. Short cut I took was bending the relay pins inwards, and someone else on this board stripped the female lugs on the base and bent the portion that makes contact with the spade inward. Try this first before stripping the motor contacts.

Asking if you should replace that timing belt is like asking if you should re-use a condom that may have in hole in it with a hooker.

Yep. sure does. The entire mech is in sync. I thought about a loose nut (besides me !) on the motor but that's fine.

Viagra. I was wondering who would be first.. Thanks!

I have dark circles.. ever try driving at night when the headlights point at your front bumper??

I suspect a mechanical not electrical malfunction- i.e. a support or stay somewhere not in proper alignment- for the life of me I cant see one though.

nope.. I'm pretty sure it's the motor. I will get a used one to try shortly. How does the gear assy come apart?
I had the entire motor out , pulled the rubber boot off the bottom and it looks as though it's all one piece.. I'm getting my PET back soon (I loaned it out..)
