je pistons in 944 block

has anyone put high compression JE pistons in their 944 block?

do you need to have the cylinders sleeved or did you just put them in the stock alusil cylinders.

Thanks in advance

You can get away with coating the pistons and using stock rings...... but for how long.

I shudder to think what will happen if the skirt on that piston were to hit the wall......... oh the humanity!

You could have the block nikasil plated and use JE pistons....

but I don't like either one of these options....
