Where can I get a reasonable priced rebuild or new control arm?

Where's the best source to the control arm? Is it a good idea to get a rebuild one?

Thanks for any reply.

Yes. Dynamic European Performance, 713-661-2780. Welcome to the "I need to get my entire a-arm rebuilt" club. Just sent mine out to them the other day.

Panzer909, I've called this company, unfortunetly, they do not stock any rebuild control arm there and I cannot wait for turn around. Need to put it on right away....do you know anyone else where I can pay core charge? Thank you very much.

I've gotten them from Vertex. They mail them then credit your account when they receive the old ones that can be rebuilt.

Okay. Try Parts haven at 510-782-0354. They are $175.00 + $75.00 core charge, but they can get you ones before you yank your old ones. More expensive, but there will be no "out of action" time on the car.

performance products has them for $200 and claims the bushings and ball joints are better than new... 1-800-423-3173

The rebuild arms are all the same parts, apperently just different companies. I have had 2 rebuilt arms which the ball joint was rebuilt, and they are definately better than a factory new arm. They machine the arm an press in a new sealed unit, compared to the factory where you take the clip and cover out, which will allow the bushings and ball out of the socket.

Thanks Mike. I've got the control arm from this company: http://www.autotechplus.com/

I got a used one from them cause I would prefer to keep my original one for future rebuild(I only have one car). The price is $125 for used and $259 for rebuild.

It seems like a good deal to me cause I cannot find anywhere else's cheaper than this.

Great thanks for the help.
