944 film spot

Hi!

I´m just bored,thát´s why i´m posting insustantial things (well,as usual)

Had you spotted 944´s on films,tv spots or anything?Lot´s of 928´s,like risky business,but not so many 944´s.
I remember one in Matrix during less than a second....

Anything more?

damn! I just saw a film the other week where the antagonist was driving a blue (I think) 944. he was an attorney. now if I could only remember the film. (it wasn't a major hollywood pic)

I was watching a newsreel at the height of the Serbian / Croation conflict and saw a silver 944 with the sunroof removed and a heavy calibre machine gun mounted on the roof. I SOOO wanted that mod.

Yeah,the original one!But really you can´t see it....you need to sense it.It´s when they first enter the matrix,at about minute 65,when they are in a car and Neo´s looking throw the window.mmm better i post a pic,but check it!! I know i know,I´m mad with our 944´s!

Nope! Absolutely true. Mind you, I doubt if it was a mod made by the original owner.

Back in the nineties it was common to see news reports full of machine-gun toting teenagers, dressed in leather jackets with HOS insignia , black berets, and shades (even at night) swanning around nightclubs like something out of the Matrix. I expect one of these punks lifted the car off some poor sod and stuck an MG on it for a pose. The Balkans were in total anarchy then so it's hardly surprising really.

Opening scene of the 1st 90210 episode. There is a view from the roof of a guy driving an S2 Cab

Also the movie "Not Another Teen Movie." The main character drives a 944 and is in high school....made me laugh bcz it reminded me of myself!

A movie named Sliding Doors. It's a chick flick....My girlfriend made me watch it I swear!! Anyway, a 924 cruises by during the night and in the rain...very brief....took me a couple shots to verify

Which is a reference to the movie Sixteen Candles, in which the male lead drove a then-brand-new 944.

Didn't the 944 used in Not another Teen Movie belong to a Pelican member? Or wasn't it in the music video from that movie or something?

I do belive the machine gun mod would get me into a lot of trouble here in Hawaii. These people have no idea that the left lane is for Porsches and the right lane is for SUVs. I have always thought that the spyhunter oil drop would be pretty slick, or maybe the Bond nail drop out the back of the car. Great for tailgating SUVs with small brakes.

Anyone ever see the S2 Cab get blown up in mid-90s tv show "The Sentinal"?

The funniest has to be the fat guy trying to squeeze himself into a 944 at the used car lot in the movie "Cadillac Man."

It's when they go to see the oracle in part 1. Also if you pay attention on Matrix Revolutions (3), when he goes to see the oracle again you will notice that they use the same background and you can spot the same 944 again. "I used to eat there, really good noodles", or something like that.

I spotted a 951 poster in Seinfield. It was on the wall of a dealer when he goes to purchase a Saab convertible.
