Any one have any experience with these? You can get em for $150.00 I am usually a firm believer in you get what you pay for, but this is simply software that could be copied from the $399.00 chips? I don't know if autoathority has a patent on their program. And a shim is a shim no?
Lemme know what you guys think, also I will be flushing the radiator this weekend, any tips???? I was reading the posts regarding coolant. I believe that someone said that all coolant is now phosphate free, but the house brand at discount auto parts has it in it. Not that I would use that anyways, just an FYI. I was planning on adding some water wetter that I had laying around from last season, It kept my GSX-R cool at 15,000 rpm at Road Atlanta so I figure I couldnt hurt me Porshce. |

Sergio,
do you race your bike alot?? i work part-time tuning Yamaha TZ250s...haven't been to Road Atlanta yet, but Mid-Ohio and Loudon were a blast. I'm headed to summit point, WV this weekend for an ARMA race. Jetting on the two-strokes (TZ,RS,RGV,NSR)is a nighmare, and thats just on two cylinders!! Tim S |

Sergio,
Try to find out what kind of chip it is. I have the Europroducts chips in my 86 951 with the shim also. It cost me $200 last year. I love it. I talked to Europroducts about it when I was considering it. they have never had any customer problems. There are factors to consider, of which I may not know all of them. Since the chip raises the boost you have to increase fuel so the car isn't lean and prone to detonation. How does the chip do this. Europroducts cycles the injectors more than stock chips. http://www.911-944.com/main/mainporsche.htm John |
