Anyone running 4 of the same size snow tires on 944 Turbo?

I am looking to put a set of snow tires on the phone dials that came with my 1986 951. It seems to be more cost effective to purchase 4 of the same tires - thus I am considering going with 205/55-16s all around rather than putting 2 on the front and 225/50-16s on the rear. Is anyone using 4 of the same snow tires on their 944? Any additional thoughts on doing this? Anyone have a set of 16" or 17" snows they are looking to get rid of in the NYC metropolitian area? Thanks for the comments -

Hi Jeremy, I have a little experience with an '87 with 225 Blizzaks(sp?) all the way around on the 7's and 8's phone dials, sure was better than running $3K of summer tires and 17's in the winter! I'm not sure if they could get a 205 on your 8 though.

I have 215/60R15's on my 7" phone dials all round, had no issues what-so-ever. A little thought. Where you live, they salt the roads, no?
Why run your summer rims in the winter, and get them all fouled up? Buy a cheap track set or something on ebay, all same size, then you don't have to worry about this decision =)

Thanks for the comments

I upgraded my wheels to 17" Cups with Z rubber. I want to use the 16" phone dials as junk rims for the winter. Thanks for the comments - keep em' coming!
