Post temperature sending unit

I have an early 1985 944. My interior temp guage was not working. And, I found out that no wires were hooked to the temperature sending unit. Can any one tell me what wires need to hook to this temp sending unit (under the air intake)? There are 2 prongs for wires, a big and a little one. Thanks a million!

You should be able to figure it out from the Haynes manual. The coolant temp sender unit has 1 wire (blue with yellow stripe I think), while the engine temp sensor has a socket with 2 wires.
