I have a problem

Ok, when my car is off and the key is out of the ignition, I can turn my a/c fan switch on and the motor will blow, then I get out of my car, the driverside fan is running, so I think,ok it must be warm. I come out about an hour later and the fan is still on, so I pop the hood and unplug it. What would cause this, fan relay? I think the passenger side fan is running all the time the key is on,but I'm not sure. I replaced the thermo switch last summer, but never the fan relay.
Thanks

Check the temperature switch on the driver's side of the radiator. With motor cold, pull leads off and check resistance across the two prongs on the thermostat. Resistance should be infinite when motor is cold.

The thermostat switch looks like a round plug with two electrical leads. It is about 8 inches(?) from the top of radiator. I am not sure which switch you replaced - the one on the block or the one on the radiator.

Lawrence, I replaced the one on the radiator with a lower temp one.

I replaced my thermoswitch twice in two years.

If I were you I would check the switch anyway. If you don't have a multimeter, just pull one of the leads off the SWITCH. If that stops the fans and the radiator is cold, then your switch is sticking on.

Lawrence, ok I did what you said, and well the fan still runs,I also unplugged the fan relay and it still runs. I don't know man.
P.S. I even unpluged the temp sensor,no go.

Pull the AC relay and see what happens.
