WOW!! I finally saw another 951 in town.

Its the first one that I have seen around here. Its another 1988 and, its for sale. Sitting on the local BMW lot for $8995.00. Its white with Burgundy interior (I like my stone gray better). One thing I noticed, it has 245's on the rear and 225's on front, with different looking wheels. Not sure what type of wheels they are, maybe C2's? it looks pretty good with these wheels and the tires seem to fit nicely in the wheel wells. Anybody happen to know what width these wheels came in?

Wolf: you can fit 225's on 7Jx16's and 245's on 8Jx16. It's a nice upgrade. Were the wheels 5 spoke? 16's? If so, they could be 968 5-spoke rims.

The wheels were like the ones on the second car in that picture. What are those?

Those wheels came standard on the 964, Turbo S and S2. I'm pretty sure they are called Cup wheels.

The wheels are design 90's if they are cast. If they are forged they are called club sports.

Here are a selection of wheels found on 944s

968 5-Spokes

Cups:

Cup2s:

Club Sports:

Design 90s

The Club Sports and design 90s differ in production process (forged vs. cast) also the design 90s have a more pronounced lip. Hope this helps.

club sports. those are the ones I was thinking of! they are easy to confuse with the design 90s. the design 90s were never directly available on the Turbo, so if you see wheels that look like them on the turbo, they're most likely club sports
