| Banned | Replacing Clutch coming real soon!
Well, if you don't already know, I have a worn clutch disc, and I'm going to be replacing my clutch, and using Pelican Parts clutch kit. I'm not taking it anywhere. My dad seems to be confident we can do it together on 16" jack stands. Can I get some detailed pro's and con's to this? If he were to know of some major problems he might run into, he might reconsider doing it ourselves. The real reason I post this, is I always hear how 'hard' this job is. Even jobs people say are 'easy' are still tedious.

I haven't done it myself had a shop do it. There is a lot of info on this site on clutch jobs. Do a search for clutch and you will find a lot of old posts on clutch jobs. The search button is on the upper right near the Post Reply button.

I used the Pelican kit and the procedure in the 944 Garage. It worked great! This project is actually fun, if you have a good attitude about it! I have done two now and if you need any additonal help please email me and I will walk you through. http://porsche-944-garage.tripod.com/ | ||
