Post 944 start & run problem

Help! I've been having a starting problem with my '86 944 with 60K miles. Originally it was very intermitent and seemed to happen when it sat for days or outside in the rain. It would run real rough at first and then clear up when up to temperature while driving. Now it is sometimes takes a few cranks to start and runs fine for a while until it will just cut off at speed and then won't start up for a few minutes. I replaced the rotor which had a little corrosion on the center tip. Would replacing the fuel relay help? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

(figured it out, it was the DME relay after all.)
