That's interesting.. I came across that exact same link while searching for something a few days ago (guess Google just indexed it). All I'll say is this: You've heard one street racing story, you've heard them all. Those threads always end in a pissing contest.

By TT do you mean turbo tim (which it is)? Very manageable. Not too loud, but definitely louder than stock (I personally thought stock was too quiet for a car as fast as it was (sound didn't fit the image) so I replaced the stock muffler with a flomaster 40 series, which wasn't much louder, then when my car got wrecked, I replaced the stock exhaust with the 3" speedforce jobbie). Nice, low idle that you can hear very faintly inside your house, excellent throaty midrange and screaming high end. It still sounds like a 951, just louder and meaner. I like it a lot. You can still hear your music and talk at a conversational level inside the car, if thats what you are worried about. Tim just upped his prices $50 for all his exhaust systems, too.

The one I'm thinking of buying looks exactly like yours. Only the paint is faded on the roof, and on the hood.

:P

Edit: Thanks Ribs and UK944 for the pics

If that guy with the del sol ever races a 951 from a 60MPH tromp he will just see a blur in the distance up in front of him. I would't take a chance on my clutch either, too costly to replace.

Guy in the Del Slow sounds pretty insecure. And he has the nerve to call the 944 ugly! Does he realize that the Del Slow, which looks like the love child of a Suzuki X90 and a Geo Metro, is the No. 2 chick car of all time? (Rabbit Cabrio is No. 1). Plus, those VTEC motors feel like they're missing two plug wires when they're at low revs, operating off the meek cam lobes. To extract any performance, you have to drive them with your teeth gnashed and the veins popping out of your forehead.

Sounds like this guy does...
