924S suspension tuning

How can the rear of the 944/924S be stiffened up? I have had problems with so much body roll the fender will rub on the tires. Normaly people would say just put in stiffer springs, but Germans seem to avoid them.

Does anyone know who sells a Neoprene bushing kit? I have been unable to find anyone who does.

Are adjustable coil-overs for the front available? And how about anti-sway bar upgrades. I have heard the M30 and M28 from the 968 (I think) are the biggest available. Do they make any larger ones or nicer/adjustable ones?

As far as the sway bars go the m030 have 3 different settings, stiff stiffer stiffest. I have a pair of turbo sways front and rear for sale if you want em. just the bars no bushings or droplinks

Check which shocks you have. The Koni's can be set for rebound/stiffness. There are options to remove the torsion bars and use coil overs on the rear.

Still between a stronger sway bar and proper shocks you will find the back quite tight.

P.S. Some body roll is expected. It's part of the design. But then may like the go-kart feel.

When was the last time you changed your timing and balance belts and/or cam chain and tensioner?

Rear bar will help a bit but to do it right change the torsion bars to 29mm-30mm. M030 968 Sway bars are your best bet if you have the cash.
It depends on the use you have with the car. Racing, AutoX? What group, SCCA-PCA would you run in? This matters when it comes to removing the torsion bars and use coil overs.

Budget set up go with a Koni shock, Turbo bars and helpers springs.

Yes there are front coil overs available at www.944Racing.com or www.paragonproducts.com

You want the front ride height adjustable coil over kit.
Paragon has the bushings you need also.

Hope this helps! Sman
