It has been suggested to me on this board that the relay diagram in the 1983 owner's manual is incorrect. As you may know I am having problems with my cooling and fresh air fans, and I have determined that it is somewhere in the fan circuit.
If the owner's manual is incorrect, what are the correct slots for the relays? In particular, should the cooling fan relay be in slot #1 and the A/c relay in slot #3? Thanks - Jeremy 1983 Guards Red [This message has been edited by jwolk1 (edited 08-20-2001).] |

the book is definately wrong, my 83 has the same mistake. im sorry im not familiar with whats happening to you but if the ac of fan works at all try pulling relays till it shuts off. there is also a relay under the glove box towards the center console, behind the piece directly under the glovebox. i think it may be one of those two relays. sorry, im not really sure exactly whats what. good luck!
