actually, here are some
tis is the accusump in the wheel well. the liner goes back in to protect it.

this is the oil filter that connects a line to the accusump. they are great filters that filter to 8 microns which is much better than stock and makes filter changes a breeze. the inserts are $10 a piece and last 3x longer than the stock ones

the accusump delivers oil pressure when the ignition is switched that cures the dry-start problem and will keep oil pressure even if the oil pickup goes dry, which is the cause for bearing failure in 944's.

the scratches on the fender are from the track, not the accusump install :^)

I know of two 944 turbos that were equipped with the Accusumps. Both spun bearings anyway. Both were track cars.

it is a 3 quart. an accusump cannot fix previous damage. it will also not help if you run the car out of oil. if you study how one works you will see that it WILL prevent loss of oil pressure if the pickup is uncovered, which is why 944's spin rod bearings. now if you have already damaged your bearings and install an accusump, it will NOT help. in fact you will effectively ruin the accusump also with the metal shavings. I am not trying to push these on anyone, in fact there is little to nothing in it for me. we put together a nice clean installation of the kit that can be bolted on. we buy the parts wholesale and sell them retail. we did this because we have seen so many poor accusump setups on other track cars. you would not believe some of the places people put these things. bottom line, look at the facts, how it works, and you will see why it works. we have a bucket of spun bearings at the shop, and not one of them came from a car with an accusump.

951carter how much for your setup, or if you don't want to post $ I can e-mail you?

How is your kit plumed? Does it go:

Engine->adapter plate--->remote filter--->accusump--->adapter plate->engine???????

I have an external oil cooler that I also want to install, where in the system would it go? Thanks.

sorry guys, i completely spaced on getting the info together today. i will do it tomorrow. i do not mind posting $ but i have to get it together. it goes from the spin on filter directly to the accusump, no adaptor. if you want to run an external oil cooler on an n/a i would suggest fitting the unit from the turbo.
