Post Lowering the stock suspension?

The newest 911&Porsche World magazine claims that the stock suspension setup for the 964, 924,944, and 968 models allows the owner to lower the front end of the stock suspension. Is this true?

Well, that's half right, you can lower the rear end too. Mine's quite low, a few inches lower than any other 951 I've seen.

the easy way in the front is to buy some stiffer lowered springs and some sport shocks to match the lowered height, the more expensive way is height adjustable shocks and keep your stock springs to go back and forth from lowered stiffer track to street, that's for the people that don't want to tear up their front spoiler by driving a lowered car around town... not sure how to adjust rear height, just know i'll need about 28mm torsion bars to match 250# front springs.

I went with the threaded collars + springs (choice of weight) from paragon for $240..

The front ride height is not height adjustable unless you've got a TurboS (or M030?). The rear is adjustable on all of them. Either way this doesn't do anything for stiffness, which is a much better reason to be replacing the springs/bars.

Hey Macabre,
How do you like the Paragon coil-over kit? Easy to install? Do you have to cut away the lower spring perch, or just leave it? And does the threaded collar just slip on, or does it fasten to the strut somehow? Sorry for the barrage of questions, but I'd really like to know your opinion. Thanks!
