ticking noise from cruise control module?
 

i'm hearing a ticking/gear-like noise coming from within the cruise control module by the battery when i do not have my foot on the clutch or the brake. it goes away as soon as either is applied. is this a bad module or maybe a relay?

I have the exact same problem with mine but it only happens when its cold. One of those things I'll get to eventually.

any ideas?

Cruise control servo bearings?. Time for a new servo unit or maybe the old one's can be replaced. If it's too anyonying disable it until you fix it.
