Power antenna

How do I remove this? There seems to be panelling around the fender well so I can't figure out how to access it. Do I need to remove this panelling?

You don't have to remove the plastic guard from the fender well to get to the antenna. However, you do have to jack up the car and take off the wheel to remove the charcoal canister, and then you can get to the antenna.
