Theres a little pad on the block by the temp sensors that can be tapped 1/4 NPT for a knock sensor & it seems like a 951 KLM unit would be good to read it.

I just got a go from the shop owner, it looks like he's actually going to help me with it, which probably means that this thing's going to look a hell of a lot nicer than if I were the only person working on it. I'll keep you guys updated.

Ahmet,
Glad to see you are taking on the challenge. I would suggest an FMU unit from Vortech, Paxton, or Whipple for fuel over a raising rate FPR. The FMU is basically a diaphram which adds additional fuel pressure in relation to boost, and I don't think there is a ton of tuning for an FMU, maybe.

I was thinking of this same project a few months back. I will be listening/watching intently on your project.

Good Luck,

P.S. - It seemed from past posts your were trying to return your car to STOCK for racing purposes. What does this do to those plans???????

Well, I wanted to return the car back to stock, for auto-x purposes. Although I'm sure I'll be auto-xing a lot too, my primery concern is now on a track/street car. I think my car is a joy to drive, but would be much better with more power, and that's what I'll be giving it. Too bad the engine won't be as rev happy, but the power difference should more than make up for that. Also, I decided to push back buying a 944 turbo or 968 back, since currently insurance on my non turbo early 944 is ~$411 a month. I'll be saving money instead!

Thanks for your interest, I'll keep you guys updated.
