Well I need a new ignition switch.......found one for about 50 bucks

So I am putting in my own ignition switch for the time being. a push button underneath the driver seat......should be pretty tech.

So I wired up a 'temporary' ignition switch in my car due to mine having a failure. I used a 15 amp fused power directly from the battery to inside the car. I then hooked up another line coming from the ignition switch jumper (right side firewall harness...red wire, white plastic jumper. mime had a blue one too.) also inside the car. I then hooked up both wires to a push button switch and mounted the switch inside of my ashtray....it is pretty sweet. Works every time. Well hidden.....Even if you open the ashtray it looks like a cigarette lighter.

I have a stock ignition switch coming but this works so well I am not sure if I wan't to even take apart my stearing collumn.
