Short shift kit

Has abyone ever installed one of those 944/924S short shift kits. If so was it hard to do?? What did u have to do?? Are you happy with it??

Yes: I have an autothority kit in my car: had the mechanic do it. You kinda have to install it 'blind' up above the tranny: if you don't know what you're doing, it can be tough.

It did tighten up the shifting significantly, even though I have it set on the 'longest throw' position.

I have the Autoauthority kit too. It was super easy to put it back into the bag it came in, and to leave it in the box full of parts by the bed

After reading about the install on them, I'm really not looking forward to install it, I just kinda wish it would magically appear on my car with no help from me(physically, or monitarily).

Maybe I can persuade my wife to put it on for me

They are still selling via eBay. I know I saw their short shift kits there.
