Christophorus
I have never signed up to receive Christophorus, but every once in a blue moon I will receive an issue.
Has anyone else received occasional issues of Christophorus without signing up for it? Believe me, I am not complaining, but I can't figure out why I am getting the magazine. Could it be because I registered the car with Porsche when I bought it used. |

OK, I'll bite. There are probably a buch of others out there who are afraid to ask so I'll save them the embarassment. What the hell is Christophorus?

Christophorus is a magazine that is put out by Porsche.

Yup... i get them too, and never ordered it, i bet it has to do with the registration like you said.... how'd you like the article on the Carrera GT? ..... my friend will be getting one of the first ones, he's already ordered it.... he's got a ferrari 360 modena F1 right now..... YES I AM JEALOUS!!

prolly better you didn't get to see that article then.... 558 HP and 442 ft/lbs outta a 5.5L V-10 inna car that weighs as much as my 944.... top speed 205 mph, 0-60 under 4.0sec... but I don't have the $325K that my bud expects to pay for it....

pretty much been getting it since i bought the car almost 3 yrs ago... i think DMV records might be the way they found me... but i'm not complaining either....

I think these are simply extra copies that go out at random to reg. Porsche owners. I've been getting them off and on for at least 5 years.

I started recieving it right after I joined the PCA. I sort of assumed that's where they got my name from. It's bi-monthly, and i recieved every issue for the first year. Since then, i haven't recieved any, but it's only been a few months into the second year.

I have never recieved this magazine. However, I have recieved a couple bulletins from Porsche about technical things.

yah, my friend bought a new 996 a couple of months ago, and the dealer threw in a free subscription to christophorus. I took a peak into the magazine....its not that great. Also, not many porsche owners have heard of it....
