i had mine done a year ago, total bill came to $1200 at an independent garage that specializes in porsche and has a porsche race team. They charged 8 hrs labor and $650 in parts. You can get clutch kits for around $400-500 if you can do it yourself. If you have an extra $6-700 to spend, put on an aluminum flywheel while you're in there!!!!

Bob, where do you take your car? I don't know if you told me or not before? I always went with Stashu's. The owner, Stan, is an awesome mechanic.

Zot's Garage on 436 is only blocks away from my house. The owner has got my respect, he's a good guy. I will be honest, the shop manager, Brian, and I have got some kind of problem that I can't figure out. It stems from this clutch job and promises he made over the phone. They normally charge more for labor. (10 hours is the norm i think, but??) Luckily he was on vacation when my waterpump was done, and I was very happy with the service and the charges for that job. The owner said he would get to the bottom of Brian's attitude toward me. He's goin to help me with my cars build up and help me get into PCA autocrossing. He's has some attachment PCA in this area, but I'm not sure his exact position.

FL boys. I've been to ZOTZ, bought my car from stashus, and currently go to and prefer Redbone Garage. If you are unsure where to go just checkout there shop you might see a 908, 904, or some other racer.

Change the rear main seal while you are there. It is only an extra $20.
