Question 924 Hot start problem

Just got a '77 in mint condition. Everything is great, but after the car sits for a while after use, it takes a LOT of effort to re-start. I usually have to floor it while cranking. Is this a common problem? Also whats the easiest way to fix? Another question: The heat doesn't work. The blower does, but it doesn't get hot. Any reasons?

Thanks!

hi,

it's the WUR warm up regulator.

you should get some fuel pressure gauges from the store and verify, sometimes it is teh fuel accumulator or check valve in the fuel pump that aid the problem.

take care,
Lars
