Torsion Bar Size?
What is the Factory size of the torsin bars on a 84 944 and what size did the 951's come with.

23.5mm for the 944 not sure but I think the 951 is 24.5mm or 25.5mm Sman

For racing, what is the best size. Bigger is better? 30mm?

Yes for racing it is and it depends on the rest of the set up as to which size of bar to use. 30mm for me is too large and heavier. 1mm difference is more than it sounds. I have 29mm Sman
