Question Steering Wheel Removal **HELP**

How do you get the horn pad off of the steering wheel in an '86 Turbo (No Aribag)??

Thanks.

Pry underneath the horn button where the big crack is. There are 3 plastic snaps (ball in socket affairs - ball made of spring fingers). Two are on bottom. Bottom 2 are located about 1/4 to 1/3 way in from edge. Just pry a little on each side. It is actually a pull but a little pry will do it.

1986 turbo. Just had mine off several weeks ago. Used an upholstry tool that looks like a bent screwdriver.

I did it by hand. It's just snapped on, tug on each corner 'till it frees. Watch out for the horn wire when you do this, and make sure the ignition isn't on

That's why the prying suggestion was made.
