Good Article in 911 and Porsche World

I was just wondering if anyone happened to read the article about the 924 track car in the December 03 issue of this magazine. It was a great article about about how to build a track car for relatively cheap and I wondered if anyone had any opinions about it.

it really was a great article, a rare thing from what i consider to be the least of the Porsche mags.

actually, the 924 isn't too wildly modified... i know it has a lot of insulation and sound-deadening taken out, the rear seats removed, and some mild suspension mods. Really easy for us to do on our 944, actually!

It seemed like a really good idea for a cheap track car that isn't too far off from a 944. Makes me think about getting a separate car just for auto-crossing and tracktime events.
