I have to get the seats out of the car and
the seat rails are like froze. I was wondering if the bolts are in the rails or what. Thanks for the help |

i had the SAME problem. here's what to do:
wedge a long-handled screwdriver under the seat rail and pry UP as you undo the bolt with a 10mm (i believe) socket. if you pry the seat rail UP while you undo the socket, the bolt will come out. if that doesn't work, then drill off the head of the bolt, and then use a bolt exttractor later, or re-tap the hole with a different size bolt. when you put the bolts back in, use anti-sieze. good luck! obin |

The rails are attached to the floor with four bolts, front and back on each rail. To get to them with a 10mm socket you need to move the seat all the way forward and back. If the bolts will not come out, do as Obin suggests. The seats cannot be removed from the rails until the whole assembly is out of the car.
Good luck Jon A |
