Post How much you lose from flywheel?

What's the optimistic/realistic amount of loss you get from flywheel?
20%? Anyone have an exact number for pre 85.5's?

it's common to use 13% if you are trying to approximate drivetrain HP loss...

How much would you lose?...hmmmm...If it breaks at 7000 rpm it could cut the car in half...does that answer your question?

Try the rennlist 944 email list - they have the answer to about every factual type of question you have ever asked here. Do a search on the archives and you will find that Derek at Huntley believes it somewhere around 13% I believe.
