Parts diagram on Pelican Parts

Anyone know - is the strut diagram on the Pelican site applicable to ealier (1984) 944's? Any recommended struts for the early moel (stock like ride)?

The parts diagrams are for the early models. This is so stated on the index page and the name of the html.

I think most of the aftermarket folks make inserts for the early struts as they are replaceable. OEM are Sachs/Boege, I don't know off hand if Koni does, but I know KYB and Gabrial both do.

well, don't know yet

I finished putting in a new steering rack & since it has to go to shop for alignment I figured what the heck; I'll have shop install strut inserts

I take it in tomorrow; I'll post my opinion on Gabriels then

Currenty car has Bilstein or Boge; both seem kinda soft and passenger side is worn out
