Why did you buy your Porsche?
Just for entertainment purposes; why did everyone buy their 44?
Price, style, performance,..???

Needed a car..and the 1991 Niissan 300ZX...the 1994 Toyota Supra, 1991 Toyota MR2, and 1995 Nissan 240SX were killer on the insurance.
So i bought an N/A 944..First insurance company that offers me good rates with any of the 4 cars above..im buying one. Keep the 944 as a beater. Sorry..one more thing...the option: Quote:

ive loved the 944 years before i got mine...the car's just so balanced
in all those categories cheap, good looking, and an amazing handler...albeit not a great investment

I was graduating out of high school at the time and lived and breath porsche and had every magazine describing the 944 line up....... I still have the original copy of road and track introducing the 86 944 Turbo.
The top speed of 150mph+ of the 944 turbo blew me away. My old 75' Mercury bobcat did not look the same after that.  There is a subtle elegance to a 944. It reminds me of a woman, it has all the right curves.... perfect hourglass figure... hehehe

I had seen a couple 944s on the road when I was about 13 or 14 and thought they looked really cool. I then realized that they were relatively cheap and with in my budget, so my dad and I bought one a couple months after i turned 15 to restore...three years in now and it's still a work in progress...

Because I always wanted a porsche. In my opinion the 944 is one of the best looking as well as handling cars they make.
Not to mention, it is a nice compliment to my dad's vette in the driveway.

Not on the poll.........I purchased mine for racing.
There is not a car out there that can match the Championship racing history Porsche has! The Japs will have to get up very very early in the morning to come close to a PORSCHE! Remember now all! A Porsche 924 GTR won at LE MANS can you say that about a 240 what ever you call it!~lol Sman

after a lot of research i decided that the 944 was the best car in my price range as far as performance. i wasnt originally impressed by the Porsche badge up front.
who knew i would become a Porsche snob?
