Taking my sunroof off for the first time I zigged when I should have zagged and broke a piece of the plastic doohickey off of the driver's side rear mechanism where the lifter attaches. Don't ask, it wasn't pretty.
Thankfully, it was a clean break and I was able to superglued the piece back together and it worked like a charm. That is until my lifters got out of alignment. So my question is: will the superglue fix be adequate and if not, how the heck do I repair it. You'll probably end up buying a new part. I'm sure that your P-car dealer will have it or can order it. You might try clicking on the "Pelican Parts Home" link at the bottom of the page and look through their catalog to see if they might have the parts. You can always try Tweeks if not. You need to order one of their free catalogs anyway. Great reading for the john.

Matt,
I looked thru the online catalog and couldn't find it. Where should I look and what am I doing wrong? Marie, Order the free Pelican CD so you'll have it to browse offline. Dennis Russell ![]() ------------------ Dennis Russell Indianapolis, IN USA 1987 944 n/a |
