944 Fool Pressure Chart...

Due to the fact that most technicians do not want to take the time to properly test the fuel pressure, I have developed the following fool pressure chart!!!!

With the engine running, either push in the test Schraeder valve or loosen the fuel line.

A: Fuel doesn’t come out = 0 psi.
B: Fuel hits the hood insulation = 5-8 psi.
C: Fuel squirts over fender = 10-15 psi.
D: Fuel splashes off the fenders, the hood insulation, and the repair bay next to the car = 25-30 psi.
E: Fuel sprays to the garage roof and all over the car = 30-50 psi.

Note: If the car starts on fire during the test, throw these instructions under the hood and run!!

F: Fuel shoots through hood putting 4 holes in it. 500 PSI, remove F16 tomcat fuel pump.

What if it sprays out, bounces off the hood and directly in your eye?

Have you seen the one of the Mischeif videos where a viper or someone claims 1400 rwhp and they need a fuel pump from a jet? I am thinking they are just blowin smoke.....

It was only 750hp in a skyline ...and it was from a f16.

I stand corrected. As I recall, the man said he had 2 fuel pumps and when they needed the jet power, they had to turn off all electronics. I haven't seen the video in some time now but I still think I am going to call bull**** on a fuel pump out of a jet....
